錆屋の和蝋燭は、櫨の木の実から採れる櫨蝋と植物や土など、自然由来の染料を使用し、一本ずつ手仕事で仕上げています。
芯には和紙と藺草を巻き、空気を含ませながらゆっくりと燃えるため、その炎はどこか生き物のようにやさしく揺らぎます。

Sabiya’s warousoku are made from haze wax extracted from the fruit of the Japanese wax tree, using natural pigments derived from plants, earth, and other natural sources. Each candle is carefully finished by hand, one by one.
The wicks are made from washi paper and rush grass, allowing them to hold air and burn slowly. The result is a soft, gently flickering flame that seems almost alive.

Each warousoku is individually handcrafted using the traditional hand-dipping method. Slight variations in shape and finish may occur.
The candle holder is left in its natural brass finish so that you can enjoy the way it gradually changes with age and use.

A deep black warousoku, colored with hemp charcoal.
Two of the candles are layered with white wax, evoking clouds drifting across the moon.
The night sky, holding light within.
As the moon slowly wanes, the world turns inward for a moment.
Not an ending, but a time to prepare for what will become full again.
Some changes begin before they can be seen.
Shingetsu gently holds space for them.
Shingetsu is a warousoku for renewal.
